The worst part about eating a pineapple is probably preparing it. You have to slice the fruit with precision and the whole process takes a while. At least that’s what we thought until Lena Heady, Game of Thrones actress that plays Cersei Lannister, shared a genius way to eat the fruit.

After watching the video, it actually looks too simple to be true. How did nobody think of this before? It turns out you need an incredibly ripe pineapple. Loosening up the fibers also helps this method, which you can do by rolling it around on a hard surface with a little bit of force.
If you’re able to twist off the top of the pineapple, it’s likely ripe enough to use this method. As it turns out though, it’s difficult to find a pineapple this ripe at the grocery store in most parts of the world. In fact, many people have said this trick only works on a special kind of pineapple known in Brazil as ‘Gomos de mel.’
For those wondering how to start the #pineapplehack, twisting off the top helps kickstart the process (it also tells you that the pineapple is ripe enough), and then if need be, hack into it until you get to the bigger fruitlets/segments ??♀️ pic.twitter.com/fAi2Ib77Ne

As it turns out, this hack isn’t very useful to most people but it still is cool. We’ll probably just stick to cutting up our pineapple the old fashioned way.
