Moments When Online Shopping Went Hilariously Wrong

Retail shopping is slowly becoming a thing of the past for most people thanks to online shopping sites like Amazon. Online shipping is becoming the standard way for people to receive their purchases, and for obvious reasons.

For one, it's just so convenient to have something delivered straight to your doorstep without having to leave the house. Not to mention the fact that you are not limited to what's in-store when you are shopping online. Less crowds of people, more time to browse, lower prices... the list goes on and on.

However, online shopping has its own downfalls. We found a few customers that were not too satisfied when their purchase arrived at their house. From deceptive advertising to just total disappointments, here are some moments when online shopping went hilariously wrong.

Better Than Advertised

Sometimes the opposite happens, and the item you ordered turns out to be better than anticipated. This person ordered a patch off Amazon that was supposed to say "I Want To Believe" with a picture of a UFO.

It turns out the patch had a slight variation of the wording. Instead, it says "I Want To Leave", which actually makes this patch a bit funnier than originally anticipated. Somethings things turn out better than what was advertised.

Too Good To Be True

Judging by the look on her face, this dress was not exactly what she was expecting when she placed the order. She may think twice next time she sees a product going viral on Facebook.

As the saying goes, if it looks too good to be true, it usually is. When you are trying to purchase something as detailed as this dress, you may want to make sure you're ordering it from a very reputable seller.
