Mistakes in movies often go unnoticed, sometimes for years after they're released. It could be a minor continuity error, or part of the crew in one of the scenes. Everybody makes mistakes, and movie producers are no exception. Here's some of the funniest mistakes in movies that nobody noticed until it was too late.
Forrest nets a can of Mellow Yellow during a shrimping attempt. The drink didn't actually exist until 1979, and the can has a logo that wasn't created until about 1989.
Tom Cruise's horse comes to a complete stop and delivers a crushing blow to a nearby extra. It seems the horse did not care about how it was being handled and wanted to take his anger out on someone nearby.
Quantum of Solace
Quantum of Solace showed that it's not just 007 that can turn reality on its head. A background maintenance worker is seen pretending to sweep the floor in the background of this scene. Not wanting to fill the set with dust is one thing, but this guy took it to the next level.
In the reenactment of the Battle of Carthage, opposing chariots are beaten by spears and teamwork. As a chariot falls to its side in the scene above, a gas canister rig that is used for the whole stunt is revealed to the camera.
